Rococo gilt bronze mantel clock - Louis XV style. A richly chased and gilt bronze mantel clock in the Louis XV style. The movement is elaborately decorated with broad scrolls, acanthus leaf scrolls, and asymmetrical floral motifs. The top is crowned with a large acanthus leaf finial. The movement is visible at the back, protected by glass, and bears the serial number 1548. The clock is sold as is, having not been serviced. 19th century.
