This copy is none other than the one André Citroën gave to Georges Cormier. It is accompanied by a letter dated 27 January 1934 from André Citroën to Georges Cormier accompanying this gift. At the bottom of this letter, George Cormier has transcribed in pencil his reply of 8 February 1934 to André Citroën.
Georges Cormier (1869-1955) is a major figure in automotive history. He was one of the heroes of the legendary Peking to Paris race organised by the newspaper Le Matin in 1907, driving a De Dion-Bouton. He was also honorary president of the National Chamber of Automotive Commerce. He worked closely with André Citroën at motor shows and supported the promotion of these rallies to raise the profile of the national industry.

The copy also includes a poster about the Citroën Museum, which displays documents, paintings, works of art, and zoological and mineralogical collections brought back from the expedition.
