A remarkable pair of cast iron garden vases, with ovoid bodies and circular pedestals adorned with a frieze of rosettes, characteristic of the grand French ornamental production of the late 19th century. Both vases feature richly decorated relief: floral and foliate motifs on the body, a figurative medallion on one side—depicting a face within a frame of acanthus leaves—and scrolled handles typical of the Rococo style.
