A large, high-relief molded glass wall plaque produced by Rosenthal Studio-Linie Germany in the “Gleichnisse” (Parables) series, created by Danish designer Bjørn Wiinblad in 1982. Title of the work: “Der verlorene Sohn” (The Prodigal Son). Deep relief composition, midnight blue decoration highlighted with gold, stylized biblical iconography typical of Wiinblad's ornamental vocabulary. Hieratic faces, stylized vegetation, and architectural construction are characteristic of his decorative language of the 1970s–80s.
