Bronze And Porcelain Amphora
Beautiful, large porcelain amphora (51 cm total height) resting on a 13.50 x 13.50 cm square base in Sèvres blue porcelain, surmounted by four griffin feet, with a bronze frieze and rosette. This amphora is finely and richly sculpted, of very high quality, and the porcelain is in perfect condition. The width of the body is 26 cm. The decoration is inspired by ancient Roman rituals celebrating Bacchus; the handles depict priestesses emerging from intertwined vines. The base bears the mark of the "Wong Lee" factory, dating from the 20th century. It is in perfect condition. Delivery available throughout France and Europe.
