19th Century Italian Oval Gilded Frame

19th-century Italian frame. Carved and gilded wooden furniture, large in size and excellent quality. The frame can hold a mirror or painting with the following maximum dimensions: H 112 x W 85 cm. The frame has undergone a conservative restoration with the insertion of wooden plates to restore the structure's solidity (see photo).

It has inactive woodworm holes on the back; the frame was already treated during the restoration. Easily positioned in various locations around the home, excellently proportioned. The gilding is very pleasing, the frame is structurally sound and solid, and in good condition.
