Butterfly Wall Sconce With Wings In Sliced Agate, 80 Cm, Created By Hubert Dénia For Honoré Paris
Artist: Hubert Deniau
In the 1980s, Honore Paris, created by Hubert Deniau, Richard and Isabelle Faure, located on Rue des Rosiers in Saint-Ouen, offered monumental, often luminous decorative objects and furniture inspired by flora and fauna, much like J. Duval Brasseura. His sculptures, made of welded brass plates with a golden patina, combined mineral elements such as amethyst geodes, agate slices, rock crystal, or white coral. The workshop employed up to 40 people, and its production enjoyed international success until 1992.
