"Louis XV-louis XVI Transitional Period Commode With Projecting Top"
A projecting commode veneered in violetwood, inlaid with musical instruments and urns within rosewood frames and boxwood stringing stained green. It opens to reveal two wide drawers without a central divider. The rounded uprights are inlaid with false fluting. The legs are cabriole. The top is molded gray St. Anne marble with moldings. Transitional period between Louis XV and Louis XVI, 18th century.
