An elegant two-door commode from the late 19th century, showcasing exquisite cabinetmaking and rich ornamentation. The front opens with two doors framing a central panel with marquetry decoration within an oval medallion depicting a delicately executed floral motif. The side panels are highlighted by marquetry stringing and a molded frame, emphasizing the quality of the veneer and the wood grain. The upper section is topped with a thick, molded white marble slab, perfectly fitted, adding elegance and contrast to the whole. The upper frieze is adorned with openwork bronze plaques decorated with stylized scrolls, complemented by drop bronze handles. The uprights are highlighted with marquetry reserves and rest on cabriole legs, characteristic of the Louis XV style as revisited in the late 19th century.
