" French School Portrait Of A Lady, High Quality, Oil On Canvas, Late 17th Century"
French School, last quarter of the 17th century. Oil on canvas depicting a bust portrait of a young lady of quality wearing a cape and jewels (princess according to an old note). In very good condition, both in terms of paint and varnish. In its lovely original carved and gilded linden wood frame, with period gilding, decorated with a frieze of branches. The Louis XIV period frame is also in good condition. Dimensions: Height 54cm, Width 45cm. Canvas dimensions: 42 x 33cm.
