Miniature Woman With A Jug, 18th Century
Miniature woman with a pitcher in front of a fountain...the colours are vivid, the smiling young woman is dressed in a corset in a bronze or brass frame entirely guilloché and gilded with gold leaf. On the back, a red silk (stains in several places). Note some black marks on the frame which I have not cleaned.
