Soungouroff, evidently Anatola Soungouroff (also known as Tola or Anatole Soungouroff), born March 17, 1911 in Tallinn and died January 9, 1982 in Pierrefeu-du-Var, was a Russian painter who specialized in portraits. This is indeed a drawing in black pencil with white highlights. Not an engraving or photocopy. The drawn part is in very good condition… just the right edge is creased and there is a small tear.
