Antique Edwardian-era Albert chain, hallmarked for Birmingham, is constructed from solid 9ct rose gold. The chain is a curb-link design. Centrally suspended from a jump ring and short additional link is a solid 9ct gold T-bar measuring approximately 40 mm in length. The T-bar is stamped with the maker's mark "C.B" possible for Deakin & Francis, alongside official Birmingham assay marks including the anchor symbol. The chain is fitted with an original swivel dog clip fastener at one terminal and a spring-loaded bolt ring at the other. Total gross weight for the piece is 24 grams.
