Frank Will, whose real name was Frank William Boggs, was a French-American painter and watercolorist born in Nanterre in 1900 and died in Clichy in 1950. Son of the renowned painter Frank Boggs, Frank Will adopted his pseudonym in 1919 after exploring various artistic signatures. His career was marked by his immersion in the artistic Montmartre scene, where he associated with influential figures such as Gen Paul and Leprin. His career, though short, was prolific and diverse, with works exhibited in renowned galleries such as Georges Petit and Henri Bureau. Frank Will is particularly known for his vibrant depictions of Montmartre and Paris, but his work also extends to seascapes, provincial scenes, and exotic landscapes such as Morocco.
