Large porcelain plaque from the Imperial Sèvres Manufactory, set within a chased bronze medallion. It depicts a polychrome portrait of Marie Louise of Austria on a white glazed background, surrounded by a gilt border.
The pearls of her necklace and diadem are slightly raised.
Marie Louise of Austria was Empress of the French and Archduchess of Austria.
First Empire period.
The decoration is signed by the artist, BOL, and the plaque is marked on the back with the signature "Imperial de Sèvres 1804-1812" and a description of the decoration.
The porcelain is in perfect condition.
