Pair Of Murano Glass Table Lamps By Carlo Nason For Mazzega
Artist: Carlo Nason
Pair of mid-century Italian Murano glass table lamps, 1970s.
These cubic table lamps in clear and smoked Murano glass are striking for their shape and raw-looking glass, which has a textured surface. The color gradient is random and therefore appears particularly natural. The four discs fit together and are secured with a small screw. We have re-nickel-plated the base and screws, as the metal on lamps of this age often shows signs of corrosion. The electrical system has been replaced with a suitable transparent cable.
The glass shades are undamaged. Dimension of the base 10x10x2.5cm
These are highly decorative and modernist lamps with a subtle brutalist effect.
