La Fontaine's Fables, a set of 28 prints illustrating the various fables, drawn and engraved by J. Punt in 1758, engravings taken from a collection of fables selected and put into verse by Jean de La Fontaine, published by Elie Luzac in Leiden, 1761, figures after Oudry which had originally been used for the large folio edition of 1755-1759. H. Cohen, in his guide for collectors of 18th-century illustrated books, indicates that "all the engravings are very beautiful and highly sought after." Presented under a mat and in a modern frame.
