Superb engraving of Cardinal Melchior de Polignac, painted by Hyacinthe Rigaud and engraved by François Chéreau, dated 1729, framed in wood and gilt stucco in the Bérain style, 19th century, in good used condition, however, there is a tear in the lower left corner, browned paper, patina of age, frame, chips from use at the corners, weight: 2350 g, dimensions: height: 55.5 cm, width: 42 cm, visible dimensions: height: 50.5 cm, width: 37 cm.
