The “Thibet” vase, created in 1931 by René Lalique, is one of the emblematic models of the Art Deco period produced by the Lalique workshop.
Made of moulded‑pressed glass, it is distinguished by its stylised ram’s‑head decoration, characteristic of the powerful and symbolic bestiary so dear to Lalique.
The piece features gently rounded sides and two handles formed by the ram’s horns.
The base is signed Lalique France at the centre.
Condition report: The vase is in overall acceptable condition, with small flaws consistent with age and previous use.
1- The base shows wear scratches, and three small chips are visible along the rim.
2- The interior of the vase appears cloudy/opaque.
3- A small chip is present on the upper rim.
4- Another superficial chip is located at the centre of one of the two handles.
These defects have been taken into account in the pricing.
