Jean Constant Pape (1865-1920) was a French painter renowned for his landscapes of the Île-de-France region, particularly the area around Meudon and the Clamart forest. A student of Louis Boulanger and Jules Lefebvre, he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français. His works are characterized by an atmosphere of serenity and a remarkable skill in rendering natural light.
