The Pink Port by Jean Volang (1921-2005). Oil on canvas in very good condition, measuring 65cm x 50cm. Signed lower right VOLANG. Title of the painting on the back. Jean Volang was an artist born in Vietnam. A diplomat and man of letters, he graduated from the Indochina School of Fine Arts in 1942. He became a painter in 1950 after settling in Paris. He traveled and exhibited throughout the world.
