Very fine and luminous, typical of the artist's work, perhaps a lily of the valley. Unsigned, from part of a small studio collection. Raymond Thibésart (1874-1968). Painter of figures, still lifes, and landscapes. Born in Bar-sur-Aube, student of J. Lefèvre and T. Robert-Fleury. Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1897 to 1922, at the Salon des Indépendants, and at the Salon d'Automne. The painter owned a house in Vaux from 1903. Oil on canvas, 16 x 21 cm. Good condition, recently stretched on a frame. Shipping within France and worldwide.
