Senneh is a city in northern Iran. Historically, the city of Senneh is the origin of the name given to Persian knots, yet artisans and nomads use the Turkish knot to make their carpets. This Senneh Persian carpet has a very tight knot density (800,000 knots). The warp and weft are cotton, and the pile is silky wool.
