Portrait of a man painted on glass in a tondo shape with a colored stained-glass frame by Augustin-Louis Calmels (1880-1971), painter and stained-glass artist in Carmaux (Tarn). Augustin Calmels is renowned for his stained-glass creations, such as lamps and pendant lights, in the first half of the 20th century. Here, he depicts the portrait of an elderly woman in a lace dress and bonnet. Total diameter 29 cm. Traces of a former chain hanging system remain.
