Louis Bonamici (1878–1966) was a French painter, recognized as one of the major painters of the 20th-century Provençal school. A specialist in Mediterranean landscapes, he particularly distinguished himself in the depiction of ports, seascapes, and views of the Provençal coast, notably Marseille, the French Riviera, and the shores of southern France. His work is characterized by a luminous palette, a supple and expressive touch, and a particular attention to the effects of light and atmosphere. On display at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 41 rue des Acacias, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
