Jozef PAWLIKIEWICZ was a watercolorist active between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known primarily for his Orientalist views, particularly scenes of Istanbul (Constantinople) and the Near East. His work consists mainly of watercolors and drawings depicting Ottoman architecture, street scenes, and figures in traditional costumes. His compositions are distinguished by their fine lines, luminous palette, and keen sense of observation. On view at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 41 rue des Acacias, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
