A pair of Medici vases in Sceaux faience, decorated with polychrome low-fire glaze, placed on a mound accompanied by a naturalistic bird perched on a branch with foliage and flowers. 18th century, period of Jacques Chapelle (1748-1763). Fleur-de-lis marks. One vase is damaged and has undergone minor old restorations. Provenance: Galerie Vandermeersch, 23 Quai Voltaire, Paris.
