- A tulip-shaped cup rests on a foot with wide gadroons bordered by a molding. A frieze of bent, flowered rushes is engraved beneath the molded rim. The body is plain. The number "22" is inscribed. Only the foot and lip are gilt silver, the body is in white silver.
- Hallmarks (under the body): Silversmith: IFF in an oval cartouche for Johann Jacob Frey, master silversmith from 1714 to 1777 ([2] no. 359); Recognition: 13 in a shield surmounted by a fleur-de-lis, Strasbourg, 1692-1725 ([2]).
