Fine antique stone (or charcoal) flat iron, of Flemish / Southern Netherlands origin, dating from the late 18th – early 19th century.
This is a complete and original set, including:
the flat iron
the original heating stone (often missing)
the matching trivet / stand
The handle is made of turned boxwood, original, with metal collar.
Forged iron construction with side opening and top locking pin.
Dimensions:
base length: approx. 11.5 cm
total height of the iron (without trivet): approx. 15 cm
