Sixteen-groove rear slide, stamped with the prancing horse. Markings on the left side of the slide: BROWNING'S PATENT COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. C° PATD APRIL 20. 1897 HARTFORD. CONN U.S.A. and numbered: 707. Markings on the right side of the slide: AUTOMATIC COLT CALIBER 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS.
Mottled hammer. Two inspection marks on the trigger guard.
98% blue finish.
Molded and hardened rubber grip panels, marked COLT and featuring the rearing colt.
Blued magazine, unmarked.
Very good condition. Mirror barrel.
