"Marble Medallion, Profile, Late 18th/early 19th Century, Monogram Em"
This impressive 19th-century marble medallion weighs 24.5 kilograms. The sculpture is of high quality. We have found no information on the monogram "EM" and welcome any inquiries regarding this signature. It is a beautifully executed direct carving with lovely drapery and fine technique in both the clothing and the hair; there is no doubt that this is the work of a skilled sculptor. Regarding its condition, we note some rubbing and signs of wear, as well as small chips in the marble. This medallion is in its original condition with its original patina.
