Copper Plate Ex Libris with the Coat of Arms of Christophe de Beaumont. Marked on the reverse by the manufacturer B. Maire. In its original packaging. Christophe de Beaumont du Repaire, born at the Château de la Roque in Meyrals (Périgord) on July 26, 1703, and died on December 12, 1781, was a French prelate. Opposed to the Encyclopedists, he notably had Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Émile condemned.
