"12 Fine Earthenware Plates From Bordeaux With Floral Decoration, Circa 1845"
Twelve plates with floral decoration in the 18th-century style from the Bordeaux pottery, circa 1845. Each plate features a tulip in the center surrounded by cornflowers. The rim is richly decorated with scattered floral motifs. Ten plates have a red border, while two have a black border. A stamp on the reverse marks the transition between the David Johnston and Jules Vieillard periods. A rare set in very good overall condition.
