A rare Mennecy soft-paste porcelain cosmetic pot (signed DV in relief), mid-18th century, decorated in polychrome with a bird in a landscape in a palette of manganese, green, and yellow tones. The decoration is very finely executed and attributable to Fidelle Duvivier. In good condition, with a small, old hairline crack on the rim visible only in raking light, without chips, missing material, or restoration.
