Fine earthenware plate from Creil, part of the "Views of Bordeaux" series - representations on shaped pieces are rare. Here, the Grand Théâtre is seen from the rear - a rare find. The inscription reads: "View of the Grande Comédie in Bordeaux from the side of Rue Porte de Richelieu." Very good condition. Marked on the reverse.
