Japanese painter born on January 10, 1894, in Tokyo, died in 1996 in Tokyo. He came to France after World War I and became a student of Henri Matisse. He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne from 1921 to 1934 in Paris, and at the Salon des Indépendants from 1928 to 1930 in Paris. Ref. Bénézit p. 388 vol. 1. Signed lower right and on the back.
