"Napoleon III Marquetry Coffee Table "
A small Napoleon III period side table, marked with a maker's mark. It rests on four turned solid walnut legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher. The apron front is inlaid with scrolling foliage. The drop-leaf top is inlaid with native woods depicting floral and bird motifs. It opens to reveal a compartmentalized interior of speckled maple; a beveled mirror is located on the back of the top. Very good overall condition, 19th century, Napoleon III style.
