A pair of Louis XIV style andirons, 18th century, in chased and gilded bronze, with their original wrought iron fittings. They are decorated with antique-style covered urns or fire pots, resting on a four-legged base with ram's hooves, adorned with acanthus leaves and mascarons. The gilding is original, but one stem and a piece of the foot are missing from the wrought iron fittings. Dimensions of the bronze fittings: height 34cm, length 17cm, width 10cm. Dimensions with the iron fittings: length 46cm, width 33cm.
