A Regency period 18th-century carved wooden console table, originally intended to support statues. It features a theater surmounted by a gilded shell and a winged cherub's head supporting the display entablature. The whole rests on a substantial plinth adorned with scrolls and two winged cherub heads. The piece is presented unrestored, with traces of polychromy and gilding remaining in its natural state, bearing the marks of age and wear that attest to its age and the high quality of its execution.
