Japanese Lacquer Cabinet
Large Japanese lacquer cabinet with rich decoration on all sides, featuring landscapes and flowers in relief. It has two doors opening to reveal ten drawers. All the metal parts are finely engraved gilt bronze. The original base is made of blackened wood carved with bats and chimeras, and includes its three original bronze keys adorned with bats. There is wear and some loss of lacquer on the top. The doors, sides, and drawers are in good original condition despite a few small chips.
