Magnificent and elegant Louis XV style bombé commode in marquetry, a high-quality antique piece dating from the 19th century, entirely original with an unbroken marble top. It features two drawers in the front and original bronze mounts. A truly beautiful commode of exceptional quality, it comes from a bourgeois home in Burgundy. In good, unrestored condition with signs of wear consistent with age (see photos). There are a few minor veneer losses, but these are not noticeable (see photos).
