Oil on panel signed André Béronneau* depicting a view of the old footbridge spanning the Coussane River in Estaing, Aveyron, dated 1928, in a painted and gilded wooden frame dating from the early 20th century. This painting and its frame are in good condition. Signed lower right, annotated and dated on the back. Note: slight wear consistent with age on the frame, see photos. He is famous for his sumptuous French landscapes of southern Brittany and Provence. He exhibited his works at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris between 1926 and 1935.
