It opens with two drawers in the frieze, adorned with decorative metal fittings, above two molded doors with scalloped lines and rocaille motifs. The cut-iron keyhole escutcheons and handles emphasize the authentic, antique character of the piece. The central rail is adorned with carved motifs, while the lower plinth features a stylized shell motif, flanked by foliage and resting on cabriole legs, lending elegance and movement to the whole.
