A rare Lombard commode in walnut with marquetry of fruitwood, bone, and mother-of-pearl.
The marquetry decoration depicts hunting scenes of lions, stags, wolves, and boars.
It features a curved front with three drawers with carved crossbars.
The top of the commode and the drawers each represent a type of hunting practiced by the aristocracy.
This model of commode was produced in small numbers, making it a collector's item.
