17th Century: Reclining Sick Chair

early 17th century: Louis XIII period wingback reclining sick chair. Upholstered in yellow leather (in excellent condition!), making it very adaptable to contemporary interiors. While the chair is perfectly usable daily in the upright position, it can only be displayed reclined in an exhibition setting due to the age of the cremone bolts and the fragility of the backrest's tilting mechanism. Dimensions: - Height: 124 cm - Width: 75 cm - Depth: 70 cm
