Rare Complete Bronze Spoon Mold - Folk Art - Curiosity & Collectible - 19th Century
This magnificent and extremely rare bronze mold was used for casting molten tin for the handcrafted production of spoons. The set comprises its two original parts (male and female), perfectly fitted, with a polished interior facilitating the removal of the pieces after casting. A beautiful, solid bronze curiosity dating from the late 19th century, it displays an authentic medal patina and traces of hand-working on the exterior. In excellent condition, without restoration or missing parts, this mold would be perfect as a curiosity and would delight any collector.
