"Oil On Panel, Signed Guermaz"
Oil on wood panel, titled on the back "Serenity," and signed lower right "Guermaz." The painted wood panel is itself fixed to a second, larger wood panel, and the whole is surrounded by a wooden frame. (The entire piece was created by the painter.) Abdelkader Guermez was born in 1919 in Algeria and died in 1996 in Paris. He belongs to the Algerian modern school and is one of the masters of "Parisian lyrical abstraction." Dimensions of the painted panel: 41 cm x 33 cm. Dimensions with frame: 57.5 cm x 51.5 cm.
