Artist: Patrick Piccarelle
Patrick Piccarelle is a Belgian ceramicist born in 1952. He studied at St. Luc and the Boitsfort Academy. A student of Simon du Chastel, Cédric de Villers, Orlandini, J. Henrion, and Anne Cap, he was a Pro Civitate laureate, selected for the Province of Brabant, Zemst (1973), and shortlisted for the Faenza Prize (1982). He taught ceramics at the Uccle Academy and in La Borne, France. The two white porcelain plaques are both signed and dated 1988. Prize awarded for the set. Visible dimensions: 8.5 cm high, 5 cm wide. Listed in "Ars Ceramica". (See photographs)
