Restored antique butcher's block (19th century) — solid block top — General condition: Restored in our workshops, sound and stable structure; patina of use preserved to enhance authenticity. — Top: Thick checkerboard block (assembly of wooden cubes) showing marks and wear that reinforce its character. Edges slightly softened during restoration for use as furniture. — Reinforcements: Antique metal corner nuts/plates preserved and treated against corrosion — provide an industrial look and secure the joints. — Drawer: Integrated dummy drawer for aesthetic balance — non-functional, finish matching the butcher's block. — Legs: Original worked legs (fluting and rings) recently raised to adapt it to projects; Careful and reversible modifications, harmony preserved.- Finishes: Local sanding, oiling. Adaptable/natural wax as desired (matte varnish option available).- Recommended use: Kitchen island, side console, display unit — "workshop/country" decor mix.
