Regency Period Game Table
Large game table in finely carved oak. The table rests on four strongly curved legs ending in shell-shaped feet. The front rail is deeply shaped and carved with a shell against a background of crosshatching within a reserve bordered by acanthus scrolls terminating in waning lily-of-the-valley flowers. The sides, also shaped, are adorned with a fan-shaped acanthus leaf in the center.
